Just for anyone's info, you can get a new beretta cx4 storm in 40.cal with 90.00 in acessories for 524.00 delivered to your ffl. at www.budsgunshop.com included with the carbine are the front 3 rail mount and a tactital front grip. bought one today. 2/2/08

What is better about having it in .45? With the 9mm you get larger capacity, at least. Not to mention the ammo is way cheaper.

Does anyone know if Beretta or any 3rd party makes a .22lr conversion kit for the CX4? It would be sweet to use it as a .22 plinker at the range and be able to convert it back to a 9mm/.40/.45 if the SHTF and you really needed it.

Are the mags from the Cx4 and the Px4 interchangeable??

Because my Gunsmith said no, but i dont really believe him. ^^

And if not which pistol uses the same mags.

There are different models which take different magazines.

Beretta makes more than 1 magazine for the Cx4 and Px4, so make sure you get a matching pair.

Both of mine accept the new style Mags, as opposed to the old style 92fs mags
