My 686 ICORE revolver. Started as one of the limited "stocking dealer" 5 inch half lugs. I had it cut for moons, swapped out the sights for an SDM fiber optic front and a WO rear and took it down to a 7 pound DA pull:

I've been thinking of getting a revolver for my wife for a week or so now, either 38 or 9mm (so I dont have to buy dif types of ammo).

Here's a couple Colts!

I have to be honest. I never cared for the Colt's DA trigger. Specialy those trigger system with transfar bar prior to MkIII(like that on M1917, and Python. Not one on KingCobra). Never shot/messed with Kingcobra, so I'm not sure how newer Colt's DA trigger feels.. But their fit/finish, specialy early Python with that beautiful Colt royal blue finish one. But they command hefty price tag for early ones from what I seen My local shop has Colt M1917 issed to US Navy for sale(..about 75%~80% finish?), and I've been thinking I want to pick that up when Uncle Sam give me my $$$ back. Ofcourse, just as I thought of M1917, he also got S&W K-22 Masterpiece in as well, and I like S&W wheelgun...
