Short Barreled Rifle (Build - 1)

Nice toy. I go next monday to get my prints and Form 1 papers signed. I have the lower here and have to get it engraved. The upper is sittin at my FFL's ...Bought a RRA 7in kittykat upper with YHM flip ups and gas block. Sucks its all paid for but all I can do is look at it till the stamp comes in.
I am also looking for a 9MM 10.5 upper...

But that will give me time to think of what one will be next...Thinkin Krink...gears a turnin..

Yeah, the wait absolutely sucks, thats why I had two lowers done at the same time.

I love the RRA KittyKat upper, you will no doubt have fun building it.
I had a cool idea about getting a KittyKat upper, and putting a free float carbine length rail system on it. Now that the barrel would be recessed in the rail, I would slide a suppressor into the rail and onto the barrel. So now you don't see the barrel, instead all you see is the suppressor coming out of the rail. It would be shot suppressed at all times.. And it would be similar to an MP5 SD, but on an AR platform..

As for my SBR Build - 2...
I already have an LMT MRP 12" upper chambered in 6.8
And I think I am going to do a custom Duracoat job on it.
That ought to be fun.

I like my EoTech just fine, I actually have two of them, but I was going to get an Aimpoint anyway for another build.
So I can switch them out if I want..

I shot my friends rilfe, and he has an Aimpoint M4S, and it is really nice.
He is a rifle instructor, and he told me that the Aimpoints hold their zero better than EoTech's. So he swears by Aimpoint. I have had no experience with my EoTechs ever losing their zero, so I could not verify that.

Not to nit pick but i think the eotech in the photo is a 512 model. It looks like it takes AA bateries.

I own both aimpoints and eotechs. At first i was a real big aimpoint fan but i really like the circle dot in the eotechs. The only thing that stinks about the eotech is the much shorter battery life.
