That's a beautiful SA-85, Phillyd2. Where did you get the furniture?
My SA-85 has the thumbhole stock (which I do not like) but the stock is as nicely blond as yours. That's the only reason I've not changed it. |

I too had a butthole stock - check out this guy to see if he has any left:
http://www.gunco.net/forums/showthre...ight=hungarian The hand guards are original and the new butt stock was redone with some 0000 Steel Wool and a few coats of Boiled Linseed Oil. If you go this route don't forget you need to change additional parts to make it "legal". |

the SA85M is a post 89 import, and came in with a thumbhole stock.
Since he started off with a thumbhole stock, thus 922(r) parts count rules hit ya when you change it to a pistolgrip and seperate stock.
