Default Well, here is ugry turd of carbine..

So I pick this thing up today, and...don't know if I consider my dicision a wise one...
Thing, while as ugry as it is, balance is excellent. And it naturally point where I want when you bring it up to your sholder.
But trigger feels awful, and overall construction is rough.
I mean I expected it to be somewhat of crude overall finish from $200 carbine, and I'll find the way to deal with it, but not sure if I'll be able to deal with gritty trigger. Feel of trigger is VERY important to me, and this thing fails in that area with capital "F-"..

As it came out of box

I had some cheap reddot scope that my dog had it in his cage, so I threw that on.

I sighted reddot to front sight.

I'll take it out tomorrow and see how I feel. I mean if I don't even want to waste half can of gunblast to clean it, i'm not sure if I could like it at all

Just have fun with it.

Maybe there's a way to clean up the trigger.

But until then that's alot of fun for 200 bucks.

I see you took the rear sight off in order to put the red dot on, so I guess you got a taste of the disassembly procedure. LOL.

My solution was to sell mine to buy an AR-15. No more gritty trigger.

Hey, you get what you pay for. Like I said before, I had a love/hate relationship with mine.

Have fun with it.

YES! WTF kind of disassembly procedure is this!? I need allen key and sockets, and 2 pairs of hand to disassemble this SOB!

I guess in the end, I only paid $200 for it. So, in worst case senario, i'll just trade it towrds something else..

I feel your pain, bro. I know when I take my Storm apart, I'm like, WOW! I mean, get this. I have to take the magazine out. Then, I have to slide out a little lever thing from the stock. And then the whole thing just pretty much falls apart! I'm sooo jealous, I only wish I had to use allen wrenches, screwdrivers, and had to spend hours. Where's the fun? I can do a break-down, cleaning, and reassembly in about 15 minutes!

Enjoy that ugry turd!

go put the ATI stock on it - The ATI stock is much more robust then the factory plastic. Plus it makes the rifle much easier on the eyes.

As for the trigger, put as many rounds thru it as possible. Mine was alittle gritty to start but soon enough lost alot of the grit thru usage.

Have fun!

Well it's not a 'double bagger' or a 'coyote morning' but it also isn't the ugliest girl at the prom.

The trigger sounds like an issue though, have you checked it out to see if it has some crud from the factory or shipping in it?

+1 for the ATI stock. Just gives it a more "solid" feel.

Won't do crap for the trigger of course.
