Just have fun with it. I've owned a Beretta CX4, a RRA 9mm carbine but my favorite is my butt ugly Kel-tec sub 2000. Best $300 bucks I've ever spent on a gun. Good luck with it.

Get out the polishing stones and see what you can do with the trigger yourself. You can't do more than $200 worth of damage to it!

See if you can install a screw somewhere to adjust overtravel while you're in there.

Was gonna direct you to the Hi-Point forum, but it seems to be gone
There was a guy that went by Bushman over there that was making and selling aluminum triggers that were pretty crispy compared to the factory trigger. Bushman might be at www.hipointtalk.com but I don't know.
The trigger will break in over time, and the ugryness kinda grows on ya after a while. The ATI stock gives it a smoother look, but there have been some accelerated wear problems associated with it.
If you have a beard or a little bit of stubble, beware the factory stock, but an elastic rifle cartridge band solves the problem.
A bunch of the same guys seem to be at www.hipointtalk.com that were at HPPF, so they should be able to answer any question, or help with any problems you may have. Good luck!

My advice........beat the hell out of it but try to have fun in the meantime. Yeah the trigger sucks, it feels like a toy and they have a horrible reputation. Mine, anyway, seems to put 9 mil holes into targets I only wish I could hit with my sig 226 at certain distances. Oh yeah.......get some masking tape and Krylon spray paint and make that gun a one of a kind.

i guess what people say is right, you either love em or hate em, i just bought my second one, i love these guns, the trigger will break in, it only cost ya 200$
so have fun with it, kinda like a fat girl and a moped, there both fun to ride until your friends see ya on one, so take this one out by yourself and have a blast!

While you may not like the gun it is very accurate for the money. Here is a pic of mine with a red dot at 75 yards.

Also get the ATI stock makes the gun so much nicer.
