I always have like the looks of the Kimbers. How does it shoot? Or should I say, how well can you shoot it? I had to ask that way, because all of my guns are way better shots than me.

I haven't had a chance to take it out to the range. Notice the string?
The tag is still on the gun. I looked at everything between $500 bare bones and $3,500 Wilson customs. This Kimber felt the best in my hand. Personally I'm not a fan of the 1911 because before I handled this particular gun I never could get comfortable with the grip. The checkering on the grip surface made the biggest difference. This gun just feels really good in my hand.
