Default Spikes stands behind their products

I had some issues with a BCG and they hooked me up. The original had some tool marks and inconsistances with the coating. They sent me a shipping label and an RMA to return it. I sent it out last Thursday and received a new one today. The new one looks like my WMD, very clean and precise. They threw in some extra goodies also!

    The original:

    So I've heard.
The bolt just has the standard markings. Are all of the newer ones 9310, or is there some way to find out if its 158® or 9310 besides emailing them?

Post a picture of just the bolt and I should be able to see. The website says it's No. 158, though. What's the part #?

Here are 3 that I purchased at the same time. The boxes had 2 different stickers, one was blue and two were green. I understand variations between batches, but this was bad. The seller swapped out the dark, blotchy looking BCGs. According to Spike's, this degree of variation between batches is to be expected.

I wonder who they use as a finisher.

I don't know if I'd even say anything. Are they standard bcgs or nib coating or something

They are NiB. If I pay $200 for what is to be one of the best BCGs on the market I'd like it to be clean and correct without tool marks and gouges. It wasn't just the finish for me, I like the darker color actually, it was the QC.

They did well by me, too. I'm really curious how they'll handle marinville's problem.

My buddy has an out of spec lower. The mag catch keeps getting stuck. We tried various catches, buttons, and springs to no avail. He didn't want to send it back. I'm not to sure how he thought something could be done without first sending it back, but he was all paranoid about it. Spikes makes some good stuff and will definitely work with you if its legit. I've used many of their products and will use many more.
