Talking Just picked up a new evil black rifle!
I went to my gun dealer looking for one thing and came home with this! A Microtech AUG

All I had to do was pick it up and feel how comfortable it was an I was sold! Such a small package but still has a 16" barrel. Now I just need to pick out an optic for it since it comes with none from the factory. Any ideas? I also have to get a muzzle mount for it so I can attach my AAC suppressor!

Congrats, that is way cool I played with a few of them at the VF show. I'm VERY interested in how that rifle shoots. Please post a range report. That AimPoint on your AR looks like it would work nicely on there.

Thanks K31! I didn't think I would like one till I picked it up and saw it in person. Two of the guys that work at the shop I go to also bought one for themselves. They said they are selling their ARs now cause this thing kicks the crap outta them! LOL They told me they were getting 1 MOA or better groups with it with zero kick which sounds good to me! I'm still on the fence on what optic to put on it. I started another thread in the optics room for suggestions.......

Even though I haven't shot this one yet, from the quality in it and what I have heard from people that have just about every rifle made this thing is a winner. I wouldn't hessitate to go check one out....

Once I figure out an optic I will be posting a range report so look for it in a week or so.....

Thats the only downside of the rifle I can see..........$1600......

Yeah I know.......I'm still cringing when I think about it. The mags are $30 ea also......but you can get 30rd or 41 rd mags

But if it shoots as well as if looks and feels it will be worth the money

I don't know how many dealers had them at the VF show but the one I got was my dealers last one. All the others went. They already called Microtech and there is such a demand they don't think they will be able to get any more for a month or so. I hope this is not the same for all the other dealers or everybody may be out of luck for a bit.
