Default It's a Bird, It's a Plane, No, It's my 870

Figured I'd post some Pics of my 870. Finishing touches will be on it soon (sling, add a light, and possibly a side saddle). I picked up an Insight LED 160 lumen light also, but like it so much I'm not mounting it. Might have to get another just to mount.

Remington 870
Cav Arms SST870 Adapter w/ collaspsible stock
Saw Pistol Grip
KZ Forend Rail
KZ 6061T6 Vertical Foregrip
Bayonet Lug/Clamp
Hakko BED-35 sight

The only issue I noticed was that you can torque the handguard/rail in either direction. After looking at all the other rails out there, and original handguard; I've realized that it torques because the original handguards nearly touch the barrel so a slight torque touches the barrel and isn't noticed.

Is this shotgun intended for serious defensive purposes or are you just screwing around?

Defensive purposes.

Obviously the Bayonet is for show.

I've had the gun for over 2 years now and have had almost every type of configuration on the gun I can think of. I'm trying to build something I like and will function exactly how I want it too.

When I started I saw the MilitaryMorons write up on the SST870 system and went with that. I wanted some type of holo sight on it and the Knights mount system is impossible to find and Mesa is plastic, so I was iffy on that.

I know the VFG kills the lines on the gun but it gives me much better control and guarantees grip compared to the stock forend. I need to find another light to mount and get a sling and it'll pretty much be finished.
