Found this at my local gun shop screaming "take me home"...
I had to...

Colt SP1 all oringinal with Colt SP1 bolt carrier and Colt 3X20 scope...







And got this 2 or 3 month ago...

Erma-Werke KPG-69 22lr..

Wow old school. i fired one of these once back in 1999 doing weekend training up at Fort Indiantown PA. the national guard still had these back then the AR15. i remember it has safe, semi, and AUTO!!! nice find!

Is the scope usable at that height? I've been thinking about putting together an AR and I've always wanted it with the classic carry handle. I realize you can get a detachable handle but I'd rather have a fixed one. It would be nice if I still had the option of some type of optic.

Yes it is usable, that why they came out with that type of scope for the fixed carry handle AR...
