fordmech00 will become famous soon enough
Default My first build

This is my first attempt at any gun build and decided to go with the m4gery look. I started with a completly stripped Essential Arms lower and added all the internals and a six position stock. Next was the barrel. I took off the front sight and added a Yankie Hill flip-up sight and gas block, quad rail hand guard, and attached it to a Bushmaster flat top upper. All in all I'm happy with it and was suprised at how easy it actually was. Now I just have to find time to get to the range and make sure it goes bang instead of boom.

Good job, fordmech00. I'm thinking about removing my front sight and adding a flip-up sight too, but I'm not sure if I can do it myself. I may just take it to a gunsmith before I break something.

Nice.
I just bought two Stagg stripped lowers. I've never built an AR before, but my 18 year old son built his first about 4 months ago.
I'm not sure if I'm gonna build them or just hang on to them for later use.
