So yea i was trying really hard not to spend to much (yea right)... I was there going to get some parts and whatnot. And then right before i was going to call it a day i saw it and said i had to have it.

Introducing the Tokarev SVT-40



Details:
- 1940 Tula Production, Sniper rail equipped.
- 7.62x54r Think SKS with bigger balls...
- 90% bore, sharp rifling. Will probably be shiny after firing/cleaning a few times.
- Re-arsenaled at some point in time.

So yea im really excided and hope to shoot it sometime soon. But we'll see what the weather does lately. Hopefully I wont have any malfunctions but we shall see whether or not i get the gas system adjusted right lol.

Whatcha gonna feed it? Mine does quite well with Czech Silver Tip. A little trick, when you push the rear part of the receiver cover forward, a 7.62x54 round is a perfect fit to hold the cover forward so you can easily remove it. Do you have a gas adjustment tool? Be careful, the adjustment nut is 5 sided, easy to mess up. I got the tool from a guy in Texas, if you need one or have any questions PM me.

I got a tool on order already as i've seen how easy it would be to damage the gas nut.

As for what i am going to feed it, i have a 20mm can full of Bulgarian Yellow tip, and a can of Czech Silver Tip. As well as about 500 rounds of Prvi 150gn FMJ. So i got plenty to choose from here.

I really wanted it so i said to hell with it. Turns out i made a decient call, the Russians only ever made about 51,000 sniper variants.
