I love 3rd gen S&W's!

They are some of the ugriest gun there is. But they are accurate, dependable, and for some odd reason, used one is cheap.

I love my 3913..

shot 50 rounds out of it and love the recoil even at 37oz. Kinda heavy for carrying but, loads of fun to shoot! I wouldnt advise Magtech 180g ammo from Gander Mtn had two jams and was all over the place!

on the 9mm, anything I've tried from JHPs to lead SWC, to truncated cone, to ball ammo, even wolf, has worked fine.

right now its loaded with +P Speer Gold Dot HPs.

on the 10mm, all I use is Federal or Doubletapp.
I carry the Doubletapp, something like a 155gr load doing 1400 out of that Smith, i forget, but its a cannon.

google Doubletapp ammo, they have some surprising ly hot loads, and they aren't +P.
