Hey guys - anyone thought about a group buy for ammo before 9/1 when pricing is supposed to go up again?

I'm in. Could use both rifle and pistol Ammo.
.223 and .45. Will be out of town this weekend but post or PM to let me know. I am assuming that a GB lowers the cost significantly if we buy like 10K rounds or so?

There's a guy in Joisey, shopping about 7 million rounds of 7.62 NATO mil-spec hardball (brass case!) over on WarRifles.com - says he needs to sell about 12k at a time, to get it down to $.40 a round - if I read him right. Don't have his exact post in front of me at the moment, but if it sounds 'interesting' to anyone, let me know, and I'll retrieve it, and post it here.

I saw this advertised on Uzitalk a couple weeks back. http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29103 The min is 1 pallet for $13,720 which comes out to be 28,000 rounds for $490 per k. plus shipping. His user name is ammoworks, you will have to scroll down in the post's to find all of the pertinate info if you care to read it. The gist I got from it was that it is made in Lithuania 146gr m80 ball, brass cased, boxer primed, non corrosive, in battle packs sealed in ammo can's. Phone number for him is 305-672-2479 ex.307 name posted is Shay D. Hope that help's, if someone is really able to get this up and moving I would consider being in for a case or 2. food for thought Cheers, josh
