Default Group Buy - Shiningbeam tactical flashlights

Hello all!

We had a group buy on the Romisen RC-N3 flashlight a few months back and there is some interest in another group buy. I am starting a new thread for one reason, this group buy is NOT limited to one model of light. ANY flashlight from his store (www.shiningbeam.com) ordered through this group buy will get 10% off.

Here is how it works

1. Post here or PM me with your participation in the group buy. I need your real name so unless you are willing to post it here PM it.

2. Once we get enough people (I like at least 10) I post here that you may order the light(s). You can order ANYTHING from his site.

3. I will email Bryan from Shiningbeam the list of names and he will apply the 10% discount to your order. (WHEN YOU ORDER IT WILL APPEAR FULL PRICE. HE APPLIES THE DISCOUNTS AFTER THE ITEM SHIPS!)

This is the original thread if you would like information and recommendations from those who have purchased before http://forum.pafoa.org/group-purchas...lashlight.html (Group Buy - Romisen RC-N3 Q5 Dual Mode Tactical Flashlight)

His website www.shiningbeam.com

Some lights I found interesting:

Romisen RC-N3 Q5II
http://www.shiningbeam.com/servlet/t...II-Cree/Detail

2 mode CR123 light with extension tube to accept 2x AA.

Romisen RC-N3 WW
http://www.shiningbeam.com/servlet/t...h-N3-WW/Detail

Same light as above but with a warm tint emitter. (some people like the warmer lights)

Romisen RC-A4II
http://www.shiningbeam.com/servlet/t...h-A4-II/Detail

Appears to have the same internals as the RC-N3 with a more "tactical" look, larger tailswitch, and larger strike bezel.

Romisen RC-C6II
http://www.shiningbeam.com/servlet/t...h-C6-II/Detail

Appears to have the same internals as the RC-N3 with an ADJUSTABLE aspheric lens. Allows a flood or spot beam.

I'm deciding between the A4 and C6. Waiting to see if either take the AA extension from the N3, or if that aspheric lens is worth it (interesting idea) If not I might try the white tint N3.

I'm so indecisive

So I was looking for a flashlight for my wife. Needs to be light ,sturdy and be able to blind a person at night. What would you recommend? I have no clue as what to look for and I saw this thread.

I like the RC-A4II right now, when I get a chance I want to shoot him off an email and ask if I can get one with only one setting. I need to browse the site some.

Calvin,
Most all of these lights fit that bill.
I would recommend the RC-N3 Q5II

The A4 is an awesome looking light and I think it will be very practical. The C6 WILL work with the AA tube so I am leaning towards that. The flood beam is more practical for some close up stuff I need to do.

They are cheap enough I can get another soon anyways.

I carry the N3 in my front pocket everywhere I go. I am amazed at the number of times having a flashlight in daylight hours comes in handy, when you have one with you.

I have been using the original batteries since I got it, (last group buy) and they are still going strong. I use my flashlight all the time too.

It is small enough that if rides comfortably in my front pocket. The button is easy to operate and the glow in the dark feature is nice if you drop it in a dark room.

I have another one sitting on the stereo speaker with the longer AA tube adapter. It is my "Oh Sh*t, the lights just went out." light. It is to long for every day carry in this mode, but works great with the AA batteries.

What were the prices on the flashlights. I may be interested in getting my dad one, since he really liked mine when he saw it. He was amazed at how bright it was for how small it was.

Glad you like it!

The RC-N3 is in the $25 range, the two newer lights are in the $22 range.

I'm in. It might be about 2 week before I actually purchase but I assume that would not be a problem. I'll PM with ya with my real name because it would be against superhero code to post it out in the open.
