Yeah I saw that he makes them by the hundreds for cost effectiveness. They seem to be going pretty quick though.
I have a shop at the bottom of my street, I spose when I get my patches if its ok with Rob I could stop in with them and see what they can do.

If you sell them for the same price he is, you'll keep selling them just as fast as he is. If you can get the subdued like black on an OD background or something like that you'd probably sell a boat load of them.

So if the demand is high or even steady why stop making them??
Too much hassle?
There's the rub... demand is no longer high.

Just for some background info... when the idea first came up, and the 4" patches were made, everybody jumped on them and they sold out in about a month.

Since there was still some demand, I got another batch made of 3", just to have something a bit different and generate demand from previous buyers as well... this batch has just about sold out, but it took a few months (about 4)... which makes sense, since demand really only comes from this site.

I'd gladly get another batch made up, even with a variation like the suggested OD version, but I'm not sure it would be worth the time and effort in getting them produced and shipping them out, if only a few dozen wound up selling.

Of course, smaller batches could be ordered, but then the price would go up tremendously, and again, that would kill demand except for the dozen or so hard-core fans.

Anyway, if I thought another batch of, say, 300 would be worthwhile, I'd be willing to shell out the money again and do all the legwork and storage and shipping... but I think at this point it's pretty much a few here, a few there, and another batch of 300 or so would probably be sitting around for the next year, or longer.

If anyone else wants to give it a try, I've got no problem with that. And good luck.

I think your right honestly.
I think an OD version would gain some interest but gain no serious momentum. At least not enough to justify 300 more.
Id have doubled my order if it had been OD, but thats still only a few.
Maybe we could get a standing order in and if we hit a decent number make another run?

If the few who wanted OD would be willing to pay twice the amount, a small run of 50 or so could be ordered... but I doubt people would pay $7.00 for a patch such as that.

At 7 bucks apiece i would buy less of them. But what can ya do. I spose those of us that really want them will have to have one made ourselves.

Patches are awesome. Probably if you wait a while and maybe someone comes up with a different logo to change things up, people might start collecting the different versions. As long as the price is reasonable people will buy them. Just don't go to the well too much, moderation is the key.
By the way Robert, New Jersey Lions? That is what?

Headcase was kind enough to give me one a while back when we met up with DCDalton at Sunset Hill for some trigger time. since then its been on my boonie hat on the wall. note: the hate could probably use a good washing so the colors match.
