Thumbs up Re: ZRT Zombie Response Team Patches Are Here!

BTW, I sent one off to Kenn Blanchard (BlackManWithAGun.com) and Eric Shelton of the Handgun Podcast.

Both really liked...once the Gun Dudes Podcast finds out about them, you may find yourself having to do another printing.

There is a lady that does embroidering in her home that lives by me. If I get a chance, I will stop in and see what she would want to make a bunch of these up.

Would we rather have white letters on a black background or vice versa.

A second run of 200 to 300 is certainly possible, if the demand arises.

Just out of curiosity, what's the consensus on the size? Is the current 4" preferable, or would a smaller size be better?

The current 4" seems to make a bolder statement, especially on gun cases, totes, hoodies and such... but a smaller size might fit better on shoulders, caps, and/or smaller bags.

Have you thought about finding someone you know who can do the embroidering at home instead of looking for a company to do the ZRT lettering patch? If I was still on friendly terms with my grandmother I'd ask her to whip out a bunch. Some of those sewing machines are basically CNC machining tools with a sewing machine in place of the mill or lathe. A simple ZRT would take a few minutes or so. Anybody have a family member or friend with the embroidering capabilities?
It goes beyond mere embroidering of the ZRT letters... you have to have a nice piece of rectangular material upon which to embroider, said material itself having a sturdy embroidered border... not to mention an iron-on background glue.

Trust me. Any older woman who is serious about her sewing will have all of the things we need and if she doesnt she will know where to get it and how much. My grandmother is serious enough about her sewing that her sewing machine is worth more than both of my grandparents cars put together. She has it set up to do embroidery from anywhere as long as she has internet. She just needs someone there to put in the material.

I'm sure she can acquire all the needed materials... jes' sayin' that the effort that goes into making a heavy-material embroidered patch is well beyond the mere lettering, even on a simple design.

Anyway, good luck and post pics of the results. As I mentioned in an earlier post, if the demand arises for a few hundred, once people see the result, a large order project based upon her design can be done.

(Actually, that rectangle in your signature with the skull would make a neat design.)

Guys, guys, guys!

As per my earlier post #126 and several of the posts thereafter, these patches are sold out.

Please, no more paypal payments that have to be refunded!

If anyone can prove that a second run of 200 to 300 is in demand, I'll order a second run... but as of right now, it looks like everyone who wanted them has already ordered and received their patches, barring a handful latecomers.

As asked previously, would anyone want a smaller version of the patch, say, 3" or 2 1/2", as opposed to the first run of 4"? If many of the 4" purchasers would also like a few smaller ones, then it might be worthwhile to make another order, and then those who missed out could at least get a few of the smaller variety.
