I just emailed a copy of the PAFOA logo to Jon, hopefully the format I have it in (Adobe Illustrator CS, .ai file) will work.

Not that it matters much to me, but is there a left handed option for these? And if so, would it stay within the serial #'s of everyone else? I always thought that if I built one, it would be lefty. I don't know how you people keep track of how many rounds you fired when you can't count them flying across your face!

I got the graphic, it looks good but it will need to be tested to be 100% sure. I'll get that done in the morning, (Tuesday) and if it is good I'll take some pictures and post them Tuesday morning/afternoon.

I need a decision about the "Limited Edition" markings and how low to wait for the first (consecutively numbered) batch.

There is no such thing as a "Left Handed Lower". Stag makes a nice lefty upper, it costs more than a regular upper, at least more than our regular upper ($475 with bolt carrier assembly and charging handle for ours). It requires a special bolt and bolt carrier, not parts anybody is going to have in stock should you need them so your either going to have to order a spare or wait for it when you need it. It uses a standard "right handed" charging handle. Really the only thing it does for you is eject the brass to the left instead of the right.

I shoot both right and left handed. With proper tension on the extractor and ejector and the shell deflector of "the new" style upper receivers I have yet to have an issue with ejected brass when shooting left handed.

Hope this helps,

Jon K.

my 2 cents is make the deadline Jan. 7th or 13th, give people a week or 2 into the new month to recoup from christmas..

As for the Limited edition I would like it, but I feel that is up to danp.

I wouldn't personally want any sort of limited edition or X/X markings on mine, but I wouldn't by any means complain if that's the way it had to be for mass-production's sake. If this is done as a limited edition run, I want number 0 out of X, the rest of you can fight for #1

As for the deadline let's say you have to have your order placed by end of day on Friday January 11th. Give Jon the weekend and start work the next week or something. Ultimately a lot of this is up to Jon's schedule and whatnot.

x of x would be cool, but can we actually forecast how many members will purchase one or would it be like 50 and that's it...first come first serve? I don't really care about the LE numbers myself...I'd be happy with just the PAFOA logo!
