The author really seems to be leaning left.
This may all be attributed to todays liberal mindset in the classroom. I feel there may be educators today doing a great disservice to those they teach by slanting the information they present. Is this the case here?

I do remain vigilant to the mindset of people like the author who wish to impose their 2A ideas on me. We all need to keep people like this in mind especially during election time.

The Second Amendment is in place to give you, the citizen, the choice.
It is important to remember that it is the Second Amendment that insures we keep the others.

Many feel we should simply sit back and trust the powers that be to assure our protection. Sorta of like holding a target up for the criminals to shoot at...

What caliber for a carry gun? .22, .25, .30. 32, .38, .45, .50, 9mm, 10mm, 20mm

BTW, I do want one of those 40mm automatic handguns the press was talking about a few months back.

I looked up all of those shootings. I would note on this one that the child had stolen the guns, and only ended up actually using the .22 caliber pistol (the rifles and shotguns were wrapped in a blanket and were never used).

I'd also note that he fired 8 shots, and scored 8 hits of which, 3 of them were fatal (and 1 left a girl paralyzed from the chest down). That's either some severe luck or someone taught that kid how to shoot damn well.

Like I said in my rant, them damn .22's are the real "assault weapons". Yeah, the kid, Michael Corneal IIRC, pulled the .22 handgun out of his back, fired 8 times and then just gave up.
