Thanks RoyJackson. As I mentioned, I was just throwing some ideas out there, and in fact, I dont really agree or disagree with any of them but was more or less just stating some things that could happen in the future of gun control and I am sure are and have been considered by legislators. I am not very familiar with current guns laws in varying states or federally and would need to really understand what has been done, what has worked, and what hasnt before I come to my own conclusions on the issue. I think within those questions are the answers that we are seeking. Guns are just one of the big issues out there right now and I foresee more restrictions coming down the line in the future as that appears to be the direction our society is heading with all major issues unless it is possible to genuinely prove to the public that restriction will not reduce crime. The 2nd amendment argument will not hold forever without evidence in its favor and public support.
by the way...i am a guy
