I have to disagree with one point there. If you think the .243 is overrated, you haven't owned or hunted whitetail deer or varmints with one.

Mine's never had ANYTHING walk more than 20 ft, most drop in their tracks....Very versatile cartridge....

no the 243 isnt bad have one in a handi-rifle only killed targets so far just tryin to get a response couldve said the 06 bet idve got somthin nasty from that
