Default Guns shops on the Northeast Extenstion of the PA Turnpike

Hey everyone,
I'm going back up to school on Sunday and was wondering if there were any good gun shops along this part of my trek. I just turned 21 and am looking for a pistol. Any recommendations of a shop that is good and open on Sunday would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have never been to their shop but I have dealt with these folks several times at local gun shows:

Ed's Sport Shop Inc.
308 W. Broad Street
Tamaqua, PA 18252

Tel: 570-668-1080

www.edssportshop.com

Their web site says that they are closed on Sunday.

Most shops are closed on Sunday. I do not think PICS is available on Sundays, so you cannot have a pistol transferred even if the shop is open.

Advanced Arms in Pittston lists Sunday as available by appointment.

Gun shops that want to sell guns are open on Sunday. PICS operates on Sundays. I've shopped and purchased long guns/hand guns on Sundays.
