Click on Magesterial District Judge, then choose Other Criteria.

Enter a last name (or more) and a county, and any docket with their name on it pops up. Traffic stops, DUI's, and any other arrests that go before a magistrate. Can also search under Court of Common Pleas for the bigger offenses.

Very interesting stuff. I suppose it's all public record, so it's nothing you couldn't look up at the courthouse.

Woah, this brought up a parking ticket for someone I know. Interesting, I don't think the records go back very far though.

They must have paid minimum wage for the data entry to load up every traffic & parking ticket in PA into this thing. I know a guy who on one ticket it says he is a black female and on another he is a white male.

brought up a speeding ticket/careless driving ticket that was dismissed for me... i didnt think that ever got filed, wish it wasnt on there but it could be worse...

I am no lawyer, but a quick search brought up the Rules of Juvenile Court Procedure, it seems like depending on how it was handled (what you were charged with & in what court), you may request to have records expunged. Check this out...

If it really bothers you, it might be worth asking a lawyer about. Maybe even a lawyer on this board could chime in about criminal records from when someone was a juvenile.

Somewhere on there it says it goes back to 2000. I found something under common pleas court going back to 1987 for someone I know.

As for the black/white mixup, check the other info - date of birth, address. Could be two different people with the same name.

These aren't truly criminal records, just a record of the court docket. Of course, it doesn't take much investigating to determine who's been doing what.

And yeah, HOURS of fun. Just start going down your list of co-worker's and see what comes up. Better yet, if your kids are of driving age, try them - or maybe you don't wanna do that!

Thank you for the heads up.

Performed a search on a contractor who is doing some work on the house. His customer list is stellar. His work is good. It appears that, in addition to a few traffic citations, there is some retail theft and assault charges. It does not mean that he will do anything. But it does mean that we know with whom we are dealing.

This is a powerful tool and highly recommended.

It is the same guy, the whole black female/white male confusion probably stems from the fact that he is a mixed black/white dude with a girls name. I understand the confusion but it doesn't give this thing much credibility in my book, especially as it seems to be including dismissed cases (from what others are saying).
It is not a background check but people will use it that way, so it would be nice if it were correct.
