Anybody going to this show? Anybody know what to expect?

I've never been. What's it been like in the past?

I'm currently on a surplus kick. Will be looking at:
CZ-82's
9x18
Mosin-Nagant's
7.62x54R

A .22 auto pistol
Maybe a Kel-Tec sub2k

Is that the kind of stuff I can expect to find?

It's a craps shoot. I've been to this show before (they happen 4 times a year) and it's been great, got lots of deals etc... but I've also be there and it's been a bust. Generally I've had better luck with the sept and may show than the others. As far as surplus stuff there will more than likley be plenty of rifles at least, if your looking for a specific pistol get there early on saturday as they have gone fast.

If you've never been there, go and check it out. I still havent decided if I'll make it down, that's a busy ass weekend for me.

Yeah, you are almost guaranteed to see a few crates of Mosins there, although the prices fluctuate a little bit compared to online.

Ammo, probably... again prices might be good, might be bad. Pistols not sure, I've seen CZ-82s at local shows, but their prices were always quite a bit over online places... I think one I saw was $100 more than I saw at places online at the time.

I intend to be at this show this Saturday. Hopefully I can find a Saiga-12 there. I've given up the foolish search to find one already converted, and will just bite the bullet and do the conversion myself.

Thanks for the link, that's not a bad price at all, I will definitely fall back one that if I can't find one at the show this weekend. I'd prefer to obtain a modified one that was already converted from the AWB'94 Sporter configuration back into the original AK-style configuration, as I have been a little hesistant to attempt converting one myself. I've given up trying to find a converted one in a shop or at a show, as I now realize that was a foolish search. I recently fitted and installed a new hammer, trigger, sear and beavertail on my Colt, so I should be able to handle this conversion. I just need to quit whining and do it.

I'll be checking it out this weekend. Will say, their website could be greatly improved.

Will trade website work for guns and safes. *lol* Though the site I found seemed more for the dealers & dealer registration. Perhaps there is a more public site I am unaware.
