Default POLL - CCW & Spare Ammo

I would simply like to know how much spare ammo you carry when you CCW.

I don't carry any extra magazines 99% of the time. If I need more than 16 shots I'm in a world of trouble that 1600 shots probably wouldn't solve.

Well, Diego...it depends on the moon alignment...just kidding...seems that most people read way into our polls. Of course it depends, but I"m sure you are asking in general how many mags do you carry. For me...I normally carry the mag in my pistol and two extra mags.

Well I voted two which is usual, but it varies from 1 to 3 pending on dress and/or occasion.

I put 'just one' since it is just the 15 in the gun. But the ammo can is in the back of the car. Two extra 10 round mag's and about 1200 rounds in box's.

I would rethink carrying that much ammo in your car. It may get you into trouble down the line.

Umm, whats going to cause some trouble?
Nothing illegal in carrying ammo in your car.

Silly to carry so much since it just eats up gas:-)
a single 50/100 rd box I can see.

carrying extra mags all depends on the gun.
Revolvers: cylinder and 2 speedloaders
Auto: depends on caliber it seems
45: 2 extra mags
9mm: 2 extra mags
5.7x28mm, one extra 20rd mag

of course, theres the AR15 in the trunk rack, and 3 30rd mags in a shoulder bag mag pouch:-)

I agree with Danp. If 16 shots don't do it. Well. Jay
