All of the state game land ranges have a 3 round rule in rifles and 6 round rule in handguns. Gonna have to pay to find a range that allows you to load more than 3. And then not all places will let you go nuts with a full mag.

well 6 in a handgun isn't that bad, especially for free use. Sucks in a rifle though, that could be tedious with with a semi-auto AR/AK type hehe.

What about carried firearms on your person? do you have to reduce the load in that?

I can do all the training and everything I need to do with a 6-round limit.

Thats because there is "no" pistol lanes at French Creek. However, the official game commission rule is 6 in a handgun. It never says that you can't use handguns at rifle lanes, or must abide by 3 rounds when using such firing lanes.

After observing some unsafe gun handling, I stay away from there- free or not.

I belong to 5 gun ranges so I have plenty to choose from.

I went to the one above Harrisburg once-some guy scavenging brass was crawling down the row in front of the benches. I found this out when he stuck his head up in front of my rifle while I was sighting in. Another 2-3 seconds and it wouldn't have been pretty. I pay money to belong somewhere safer now.
