I am a gun raffle addict...

I buy a lot of gun raffle tickets. The ones I get for my friends are usually the ones that win. I like them because it's fun to win something unusual that you wouldn't normally have bought for yourself.

Right now I have the following:

3 for Mount Union VFD's Fall Bash

8 for Marylanders for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership

3 from the American Gun Owners Association for a .50 Barrett

1 on order for Aspers VFD's next big bash

1 Hegins VFD gun calendar

I know I will be buying a bunch for the local VFD's gun social in October.


So far I have 1 ticket on order for a nice pistol package to benifit americansnipers.org. I will most likley pick up a few more of these before the drawing. Here is the link if anyone is interested:

Check your local volunteer firehalls and sportsmans clubs. Around this neck of the woods they use gun raffles and bashes to help support their services and causes.

Right now things are kinda dead, but once hunting season draws closer the raffles will start up.

That looks like a good one. I may call them, too bad you can't order online. I got my start in the fire service in Franklin County...Waynesboro. They haven't changed much from those days, from what I can tell.

nope, still pretty much the same ol same ol, execpt marion buit a new house a couple years ago right across 11 behind rutters(which is closed now) and frankilin has bought a few new trucks......
