And I feel dirty
That's right, this life-long independent and libertarian has changed his party to (R) so he can vote for Ron Paul in the primary. My sister and father, both life long democrats are planning to do the same. I implore all other independents and democrats to follow our lead. Just think of it as an insurgent attack against the base of the republican party. The plan is: -Register Republican -Vote for Ron Paul in the primary -Walk out of the voting booth and immediately to the Republican party delegate table at my polling place -Grab a voter registration form -Switch back to the Libertarian party -Go home and wash myself with Clorox and steel wool to get the stink off. |

Well it wouldn't be horrible for PA to have the final say in a close race.
Glad to see some of you following Paul to the GOP. Maybe the GOP can be brought back down to Earth afterall.

The timing of the primary is of little concern when you consider that even if Ron Paul won the republican primary, the delegates would probably nominate someone else.
Whatever, only cost me 41 cents for a stamp....and my soul. |

These guys are absolute morons to elect anyone else but Ron paul as the republican canidate. Who ever they put up is going to lose. The republican party is all screwed up. This is what happens when they are rino's. The said they were republican but acted and voted like they were democrats. no they are in big trouble. I see them losing big time this election.
I am a die hard conservative and they all make me sick. The more I listen to Ron Paul the more I get discusted by all the other canidates. It shows me how far from the truth we have strayed. |

Many of us feel the same way. But it is for a good cause.

I doubt that would happen. Any delegate voting without a mandate from their electing body would be jobless after the existing term.

People don't run the party, special interests do, and none of them want to see Ron Paul as president because it would mean the end of patronage. They'd say that the party has been infiltrated (guess I'm not helping that case) and that the silent majority actually wants so-and-so as their candidate.
