Default Show me photos of your gun safe

I am in the market for a new gun safe. I currently have a standard Wally World rifle cabinet with the whitetail etched glass, but I need more gun room and I want a more security from little hands. I'd like to see some photos of your setups for some ideas.

Depending on how many guns yo want to store, what you want to spend and what level of security you're looking for, this might be an option for you.

It doesn't give much fire protection, but its sturdy and can be bolted to the wall if need be. And it costs about half or less what a Cannon, Fort Knox or Browning safe would.

That looks good...I'm thinking 14 or 16 guns, but I need room for pistols also. Mainly security protection, not too worried about fire (as long as I have insurance) I'd like to find one with shelves one on side and rifles on the other...Like this maybe!

I want to post what I have, but somehow putting that out on the internet doesn't seem to be the brightest idea. I think that's why this thread has such low activity.

That said, Sentry has some cheap safes that are good from prying fingers (and can be bolted to a stud), so long as you keep the key or combo safe. It won't save against a burglar that knows what they're doing. Then again, to beat that you need to spend a LOT more, and anything in the middle doesn't git ya more than nicer carpeting.

I'll show you a picture of my safes but only after you show me your security clearance.

Yeah, I feel a little funny about posting group pics for that reason. Here's my model safe:
linky
I think it was around $500 (on sale plus I got an open box special) at Dick's. It works pretty well for me except that I'm out of room. I'm thinking about a security locker to hold my ammo and therefore gain some more room.

I have an American Security, aka AmSec. I'm very pleased with it. I wouldn't buy anything with an electronic keypad. For me, a mechanical dial is the ONLY way to go.

Whatever size you think you need now...you need a bigger one.

Check your local locksmith shop.

I know this will get some laughs, cheers, and jeers but I am good at laughing at myself so here goes. I ran out of room with my Dick's Gun Locker, and right around the same time, I was cleaning out my basement. I had one of those old single door Westinghouse Refrigerators that had brittle wiring so I didn't run it. Well, before throwing it away, I had one of my "bright ideas" and I converted it to a gun safe. I stripped out all the guts in the bottom (ie: compressor), and did some other fabrication and I actually love it. At first, I was sort of pissing around with it, but then I really started to like it. It's lined with felt, holds up to ~15 long guns. I probably have about $40 into it.
