I read through the PA legal sticky and just want to clarify that I can legally sell a threaded 16" AR15 barrel with a bayonet lug to an individual in PA. I just sold one but I want to be sure it's legal for me to hip it there before I drop it in the mail.
I have been searching for the answer for the last 24 hours, but haven't found a difinitive answer. I have not found a definite "NO" though. Am I good to go to ship this item to PA from OR? Thanks, Tony. |

Nope. You should be able to ship the barrel without any problem barring any local law issues for you in Oregon. As for PA, you should be fine. The barrel is not a controlled item being that it is not required to be serialized and it is not shorter then 16 inches and does not fall under the NFA.
In my opinion, you are good to go. However, I am not an attorney.

Thanks for the responses gents, I get a little skittish when shipping firearms items back east. Glad to see you guys aren't under the same laws as your neighbors.
If any of you ever need M14/M1A advice, head on over to m14tfl.com I frequent there a bit. Thanks again for the help. Tony. |
