Collectibles Insurance has been in biz since 1966.

I've been with them for over 10 years and I too recommend them as highly as others have in this thread.

Hey

Checked their site and from the looks of it they are not an insurance carrier.

They seem to be an insurance agency/brokerage.

You might want to call them and see what specific carrier they are using.

From there go to here:

http://www.ins.state.pa.us/ins/site/default.asp

good luck and its always a good idea to do your homework like this

Thanks. I got bit by Kemper, one of the big ones. Six years ago, before any of this nonsense started. In retrospect, it probably started before then, and I was one the "early adopters" of the new world order. Id Est, getting screwed.

Collectibles Insurance Services is an insurance agent. Coverage is underwritten by Lloyds of London. We moved from First State to Lloyds last year to avoid a 30% rate increase and coverage restrictions from First State.

Lloyds Ratings
AM Best A excellent Stable Outlook
Fitch A+ Strong Stable Outlook
S&P A+ Strong Stable Outlook

You can get a quote online at http://www.collectinsure.com/cost.html

Click on online collector estimate button and it will take you to quote page where you enter basic info about collection and get estimate. If you like talking to a real person call 888-837-9537 (8:30-5 ET)

Here are some sample rates (PA):
10,000 = $64 year
25,000 = $148
50,000 = $290
100,000 = $545
