However, I'm pretty sure the same applies to Ohio, being inside your own house or apartment means you can do what you want. But I'd still double check with the the Ohio AG's Office to see if they have their laws published.
Sorry, I worded the question dumb. My apartment is in PA the hotel was in OH. My second post was supposed to be a hypothetical question. If someone wanted to carry concealed in a hotel room they paid for or on private property with landowners permission without a ccw, could they legally?

#1 A Walther p22 is much better than a swiss army knife.

#2 I want to be legal, not sneaky.

common sense would dictate you would NOT give a gun registered in your name to somebody else, whatever the reason may be. I can see this playing out in some sort of court, and you paying dearly for it.

If he is a such a good friend, that you would lend him a gun that could potentially make you liable for anything, then why not just lend him the money to buy one for himself? Im sure you can find a gun thats "better than nothing" for below a few hundred bucks.
Because I have a gun just for shooting on weekends and I don't have $200 to loan. However it is his responsibility to protect his family and if he feels it's important enough then he should get his own rather than me risking my own ass.

Thanks guys, once again you've helped me with the laws again.
