Number 26, called the .38 Army Marksmanship Unit is more commonly called .38 AMU. The bullet is a flush-seated hollow-base wadcutter, so it appears to be missing the bullet when looked at from the side. The round was, as would be expected, developed for the Army Marksmanship Unit in the '60s or '70s, I believe.

I've seen WC's like that myself in .38, although not necessarily the same model.

Nice pictures. Didn't see a 44.40, that was a pretty popular round that is still being used.

I have some 25mm shell casings if anyone would want to pick one up? When i was doing some work for the Coast Guard, my buddy gave me a big bag of 25mm shell casings... I think I have about 20 of them... so if anyone wants one I will try to keep some with me if I go to a shoot or something

I've never shot a .338 or looked at the ballistics of it, but man that seems like an awful amount of powder behind that smaller round.

OH CRAP! To compare, I placed a .38 special against my monitor. I might be using the wrong ammo. It appears I need to be loaded with .32 H&R Magnum.

Thanks for the photos.

Download it and take it to staples. They'll print it out for you. The pistol picture printed out good just as it was. The rifle picture ended up printing out too large. I compared a 30-06 round to the one pictured and it was only about 69% as tall as the picture. So, when you have it printed out, ask them to print it out only 8.4" tall, keeping the HxW ratio the same. By my calculations, that should make it about life size. Anyhow, here are the pics in my reloading room/office:
