I don't buy it for a minute.

between the recoil patterns of the firearms, the muzzle blast, impacts downrange.... I don't see how you could argue that they used blanks.

So they made a video, switched between live and blank rounds to make the video look more dangerous than it was...then they decide that after they convince everyone that they used real guns (their objective in making the video, and theoritically using blanks) they then let the cat out of the bag and said it was a hoax?

This doesn't sound like the most likely scenario, to me.

a little late to jump on the bus but seriously wow.

This is the reason why I stopped going to the public ranges. Too many wannabe gangstas from A-town going to the Trexlertown range and disregarding the rules. And unfortunately I have seen in person someone firing while the range was supposed to be "clear" and people were down range setting or checking targets.

Considering the film capabilities that the maker or makers appear to have, and the dramatic nature of film how can we truthfully know anything here? Who knows what is next to come out of this. This video has appeared to have fooled many people. The maker(s) of the video appear(s) guilty, whether it was intentional or not, of making many shooters angry, and of fooling many people, which are crimes that do not exist in the criminal code. This is a great video about the truthfulness of online videos. Maybe the maker(s) shot bottles, fired more then 3 rounds, and committed other violations at a Pennsylvania (PGC) range, but considering the film capabilities involved I won't conclude that, at least with what I have seen so far.
