Look at it from a jury's standpoint. First, the defendant stated repeatedly that he didn't understand his rights about self incrimination. Oh, but miraculously, he did understand that a man with an impact weapon who was 20 feet away did, in fact, constitute an immediate lethal threat. Uhhh, yeah.
