I posted this in the Regions area a couple of days ago, with no replies.
Can anybody recommend a gunsmith in the Mechanicsburg/Cumberland Valley area? I took my 1908 Colt .380 Pocket Hammerless out to the range last weekend and had lots of FTF problems with it. I hadn't fired it in more than 10 years, but cleaned it up, lubed it, and replaced the slide spring with one from Numrich before firing it. Rather than play around with it, I'd like a qualified gunsmith to take a look. |

I used to live in Harrisburg, and there aren't too many gunsmiths in the area. My friend was the gunsmith at Gander Mtn, but he's moved back to Pittsburgh. Zack told me that the gunsmith at Bass Pro was pretty decent, so you might give him a try.
ETA: I don't know the new gunsmith at Gander Mtn, but you might want to call and find out.
