Default Adventures In Refinishing (part 1)

so i finally became ambitious and decided that some of my old rifles needed refinishing.
i have an sks, mosin m38, and mauser m48 that i believe are in need of refinish.
now before anyone says anything about original finishes and whatever, let me say: "i dont care" my gunz, my project.
ha ha.
anyways, the sks was finished first: 2 coats of minwax dark walnut and 2 coats of satin poly. buffed it out and refinished the leather sling. unfortunatly the pix dont do it justice but oh well.

after:

coming soon... the mosin... if it turns out ok...

Refinishing will make a huge difference in older or worn out firearms.

Your SKS looks good.
