Maybe I'm just dense, but what exactly do you want us to do? What do we need to do to help? Do we need to register with that site, or what? I read what you directed us to and thought you were doing fine with the line of questioning that was happening.

I often consider myself the FNG. I didn't want to paint a negative picture of gun owners everywhere by saying something wrong.

If there's anything you feel you can add I'd appreciate it.

People create "throwaway" accounts all the time, just to troll, to talk about a taboo subject, or to answer a specific question. On the top right of the page there's a link to register. It's really easy.

Also, http://www.reddit.com/r/guns is a half decent place to go.

I have a question in regards to one of the comments posted on there about people who carry needing to hit the range on a regular basis. Who thinks their LTCF should get them a discount on practice ammo?

It would get more people at the range if it was cheaper to shoot.

I would love to get a discount on ammo with my ltcf but I don't think that will happen anytime soon...

No, I'm not "IcarryToo". I just went to the site you provided because of your request to see what was going on. Right now I do 3 sites very regularly and don't know if I want to get into another. That said, if there are specific questions that you need answers to, I think you found the way to get the answers, just post the question(s) here. Also, if you want my opinion on something I give you permission to PM me anytime. I'm a FFL so I can sometimes give some insight into that end of the deal.

Xring has the right idea.....post the questions here. I get enough spam from sites I don't want to visit, I refrain from registering for just that reason.

I think it's great to put your questions to the braintrust here regarding firearms. While I'm not a FNG i'm constantly amazed at what I pick up. Good for you on recognizing an area you might not be 100 percent on and attempting to correct that.
