Default Who controls the PSP?

What branch of government oversees the actions of the PSP?

No one! They do what they want!

Actually I have no idea, but it does seem like they do whatever they want.

I am trying to get to the bottom of this. It is my current understanding that they work with the governors office. Please read my post here and bump the thread.

Yes, the Executive Branch controls the State Police, so the Governor is at the top of the food chain.

Thank you. So now someone tell me that Rendell isn't either responsible or at least complicit to the PSP's action toward reciprocity.
They didn't dream this thing up themselves. They got the nod from someone.
If the PSP are beholden to the Governor then we should be able to do something about it.
Someone gave the order. It shouldn’t be up to the AG’s office to rewrite, what is now a simple agreement, into a complex bureaucratic cluster fuck like the UFA has become.
Sorry about my language, but this one really has me going.

So there it is. Every forum complaining about the PSP need to focus on our slug of a governor.

Default Re: Who controls the PSP?

So lets assume for a moment that the PSP are acting unilaterally on this reciprocity deal. Let us also assume that our executive branch is the only entity in the country that is unaware of this action. Colonel Jeffrey B. Miller is the PSP commissioner. If he gave the marching orders unilaterally then Mr Rendell needs to made aware on no uncertain terms that his Gestapo is running amuck and Rommel needs to be reined in.

Otherwise I have no alternative then to assume that commissioner Miller got the nod from Rendell.

Either way this whole thing should be squashed. I have contacted my state senator and urged him to respond to this matter.
