Default Christensen Rifles

Im buying one of the christensen carbon hunter in 300 RUM . 1911 shooter is my fiance and I have shot his 30-378 wby rifle with brake and was wondering if anyone has any experiance with the christensen . I want the RUM cause the ammo is easier to get and cheaper then weatherby ammo. I plan on using it for deer, elk , moose, ect.. I want one rifle for everything is this a good rifle for me, I WANT UNBIASED ADVICE CAUSE I AINT GETTING IT FROM HIM.. I already plan on buying it and all I hear from him is buy it buy it buy it. Im planning on putting a 4.5X-14X Leupold tactical with 30mm tube on it. Does this sound like a good set up for this rifle for my needs?

I went to their site and saw some of the reviews. I don't believe that a .300RUM doesn't have much recoil, but that's just me.

If the .30-.378 isn't hurting you, the .300 RUM won't......but I'd brake it too.

Sounds like a setup for long distance. I find it hard to settle in for a 16 ounce trigger pull (my jewell) and follow through on the crosshairs if I know I'm going to get hammered.
