Alright so I am getting dragged to philly tomorrow on my day off. I am waiting for my magazine holster to get to me. So I was wondering, is it safe to carry a full magazine in one of my short pockets (cargo pocket)?

I would just feel a little safer knowing i have extra.

I only have to be there for two hours, but from what I understand we'll be in the open. and possibly at KOP mall.

Yes, its fine to keep a spare mag in a pocket. I throw one in my gym bag, glove box, pocket, ect. . .

Just because your not in philly all the time does not mean you will never need a spare mag. If you have a car, keep one or two in your car. That way you can take one with you in a pocket when ever you want.

if your going to the kop mall your not in philly so your header is wrong

dont forget the shtf bag, taser, tactical knife , machetee, additional water, assault rifle and a token

Maybe sub-optimal in terms of ease of access, but definitely better than not carrying a reload.
