Default Question? What Is Your Favorite Gun Shop "Bucks County"

Hi everyone,
Glad to be a new member this great forum,
I would like to know your opinions on where you think my best choice for in stock selection would be, most likely looking to buy SA XD not sure which caliber either 9MM OR .40 but leaning toward compact or sub compact. It wouldn't bother me if I had to order. Being new to gun ownership I'm just looking for a good reputable place to do business with now and in the future. I'm in fairless hills/levittown area but I wouldn't mind traveling within an hour or so.

Happy Memorial Day!

Tony

Hi Tony, Mike from Levittown here. Try them all! Mike's on Mill Creek has good prices. He should have an XD. RAF on Rt. 13 has a good selection, as does Surplus City, Guns and Things in Penndel, Classic Pistol, and the list goes on. Tanners, Claytons, a little further up-county.

Anyhooo, welcome to the PAFOA and let us know how you make out. My bro and I usually shoot on Sunday mornings at RAF, look for us there...Mike45

Like mike45 said try them all, if you go to Ready Aim Fire on rt13 or Classic Pistol they rent guns so you can try them before buying.

In Bucks I'd have to go with Tanners Sports Center located at 2301 York Road in Jamison, PA.

I would second Tanners. There aren't too many great gun shops in the area, but Tanners and Seneca are my favorites.

*Shamelss plug starting...

Damn, I keep forgetting that John is in Bucks county, I love Seneca arms, but if your looking for more new pistols I'd still have to go with Tanners. Otherwise I'd say Seneca Arms all the way, he wanted $50+ less than Tanners on a brand spankin' new Colt defender, that's hard to beat.

I've bought two pistols from Seneca Arms this month and the prices were probably the best I've seen any where for those two models.

*Shameless plug over, carry on.

Seneca Arms is actually located in Montgomery county. Not too far from Bucks and not too far from Berks but certainly Montco.

I get my best deals at Seneca Arms without a doubt. When business takes me down into lower Bucks co I will stop by Tanners. There is no one in between that deserves my hard earned money though.

Man, I'm all screwed up, I keep forgetting that the county line goes in kind of a diagonal direction.

Although this is a legitimate Q&A, I'm gonna move it to the "Shops" section of the forum since we have a category for recommending such.

Thanks,
CR
