I think these programs are a joke. The fact the news even says it makes out streets safer is a joke.

The same old criminals are still there and the same old people are still not reporting the criminals in their neighborhoods.

All this does is cause those to rob people to turn in guns for the next week.

Extra events and activities like this don't really help anything.

Isn't Father's Day already hectic and confusing enough in some of these neighborhoods?

That would only be relevant if they had fathers in the first place.

Eh... that was the gist of the previous "confusing enough" jest.

From my understanding they take your name and address so they know where to send the prize....then they run the gun thro ballistics and if they get a hit they know where to come knocking.

Someone should ask the federalis whats going to happen to these guns after there turned in.....they could do this kind of program........

Meet your Local Police Officer today at the DISCOUNT GUN BONANZA!!

They can hire that guy who sells those books on how not to pay taxes to work the commercial haha

They say that there doing these gun drives because cops are getting killed. Well if you ask me I think its time to start handing out guns to the good people of philly. Regular people get murdered every day...no big deal, but it takes a certain kind of person to whack out a cop. You shoot at a cop or kill him you best believe they will tear a city down looking for you and when they find you your going to catch a needle or be sentenced to from now on. Its only going to escalate, and war is gonna break out in the streets and people who mind there business are going to end up with there dick in the dirt. So yeah maybe for the 4th of july lets offer a I-phone this time. Its sad it really is, if this was Europe they would show up to this gun swap and burn it the fuck down and say were not morons.

They do this in Nebraska, I think. Kids up to 18.

Wasn't someone here trying to sell a clunker pistol for $50 or so? Here's a chance for them to double their money.
