Hello everyone, I had a great time at the OC dinner in Moon. It was nice to meet some more folks and it was real nice exercising our rights. Today's group shoot was fantastic...A huge shout out to Renegade for your help with the 30-06 and to everyone else who so generously share your guns and ammo, I sincerely appreciate it. I do hope to become more active in the near future and do hope to get to know you all better soon. So far, you're a great bunch of people and I feel right at home!

By-the-way...thanks a lot for the new addiction!!! Like I can really afford this one right now...LOL

Soon I will think of a cooler nickname, but for now I'll just have to remain Shayne71. Later everyone and see ya next month!

Glad "yunz" had a good time...we love to show a little hospitality now and then! And, just so ya know, he's not my father (stepdad) but yeah, he does look a little like Steve Forbes

As a side note, my dad passed away 6 years ago, but one of the reasons I enjoy shooting so much is because I used to do it with my dad. He used to let me practice with his .357 (well, using .38) and the Savage O/U shotgun I had with me at the group shoot today was passed down to me from him. I thought about him a lot today...if he was around, he would have surely gone with us and had a fantastic time.

Thanks for a great time at dinner...a great time at the shoot...and some really good memories!

I really enjoyed the discussions that I had with Shayne71. Since he is a Canadian, we spent a lot of time talking about the differences between the United States and Canada. After talking with him, I became grateful that I am governed by a constitutional republic and not a parliament.

The correct spelling of the word is yinz.
