Want a good laugh, read the rest of the story at the link above This is the mentality of Philadelphia's politico's, they think they are above the law, it didn't surprise me to read this, the current Mayors brother, who was also going to run in the past election was wanted in NJ for traffic offenses. It also didn't surprise me that Philly has passed laws that are illegal according to the state constitution. Only in Philadelphia .

If past experience is a prediction of the future, all this does is guarantee the guy will be elected by Philadelphia voters.

What a joke big city politics is. I won't bash Philly because it happens everywhere. Does anybody recall the name Marion Barry? Only in D.C. can you be caught ON VIDEO smoking crack and be re-elected. I wouldn't ever live in a big city...especially one controlled primarily by Democrats (I know...it happens on both sides of the aisle). What a disgrace our country is becoming.

My question is how are the allowed to pass laws against the state constitution, why doesnt the state crack down on them? This stuff really worries me. The politicians wouldnt be able to be in office long and think they're above the law if the state would crack down on them.
