Default Cops Guns Jamming all the time.

I'm sure some of you watch those shows on TV. You know the ones. "DEADLIEST POLICE GUN FIGHTS", "MOST DANGEROUS POLICE STOPS".

What I have noticed lately, is that there seems to be an awful lot of "jamming" going on with these duty weapons. They had two different incidence on last night that had officers guns jamming. What's up with this? I mean, aren't they all using Glocks. ( OH, I'm sorry, I just had to throw that in there )

They likely aren't being cleaned/serviced. I've seen some police ammo where the copper jackets were turning green...... Ofcourse, drawing under pressure can also cause a really bad grip and limp wristing too. Who knows?

Glocks malf too. One choked at last night's shoot house practice.

"You clean your Glock? Ha"

I watch the shows also on court TV and my guess is under fire and stress they are limp wristing or something of that nature. It's easy to say what we want when we shoot at paper but that's why they train and have immediate action drills to clear jams.

Most auto's jam due to insufficient grip strength. I would imagine the police officers are usually in a panic situation, and sometimes do not get a firm grip on their weapon while firing.

And limp wristing is made worse by overpowered springs and lack of lube. You won't notice these things in normal firing, but in awkward positions they tend to show up......like leaning hard in the shoot house.

No, that's the problem. My local boys were carrying sigma's up until recently. One of the officers said his would jam twice per magazine at the range and he just had to live with it.

I was leaning hard in the shoot house and my gun didn't jam... Actually, the only problem I had last night was running out of ammo... Now searching for a second mag and mag holders... lol

I can honestly say I've seen far more Glocks jam than the Ruger P series. Underrated guns.

Found 2 15 round mags for 8.99 ad CDNN. So that's 2 10 rds and 2 15 rds... Think that will be enough? Now onto mag holders... Anyone have any suggestions?
