Default Who is the baddest movie character?

had an interesting light-hearted argument with a friend to other day:

who is the deadliest movie/TV character in one-on-one combat?

in other words, of all ficitional movie/TV characters, if they had to fight to the death (possibly using weapons, possibly not...you don't know ahead of time), who would be the last man standing?

the rules are:

1. has to be a movie or TV character
2. only human characters with no supernatural abilities

my vote was jason bourne.

whaddaya yinz think?

Quite simple my good man, that would be Bond, James Bond. He's wiped out BGs with neckties, scarves, lighters, lamps, hands, you name it, he's used it.

DUUUUHHHHH.......Chuck Norris, the baddest mother-fucker on the planet

I guess since its as a character it would be as Colonel James Braddock (MIA), Colonel Scott McCoy (Delta Force), and Ranger Cordell Walker Walker (Walker Texas Ranger).

Chuck Norris has to maintain a concealed weapon license in all 50 states in order to legally wear pants.

I agree, but I think that Tom Cruise, as insane and detestable as a scientologist as he is, was awesome in "Collateral". Also Chow Yun Fat in "The Killer" - if you don't know the reference then you don't know Hong Kong cinema.

I would've included Sergeant Hartman

but as far as I'm concerned his profanity abilities were exquisitely supernatural. Plus he got greased in the movie.

JOSEY WALES Hands down!!

Lone Watie: How did you know which one was goin' to shoot first?

Josie Wales: Well, that one in the center: he had a flap holster and he was in no itchin' hurry. And the one second from the left: he had scared eyes, he wasn't gonna do nothin'. But that one on the far left: he had crazy eyes. Figured him to make the first move.

Lone Watie: How 'bout the one on the right?

Josie Wales: Never paid him no mind; you were there.

Lone Watie: I could have missed.[url=http://www.pafoa.org/forum/vbimghost.php?do=display

i definitely vote for josey for best eulogy ever...

"i rode with him...and i got no complaints."

you guys are coming up with a lot of the same characters we did.

chuck norris hurts his own chances by playing too many different bad ass characters.

you gotta pick one of his characters, though...kinda the same problem as with chuck norris.

anyway, bourne would kill any of seagall's characters before seagall's character even realized he was in a fight. (ETA: seagall's characters are all too pre-occupied with looking/acting tough to maintain proper situational awareness)
