Default Best shooting club in Allegheny county?

I recently moved to Moon Township and am looking to join a club, i have been driving down to A&S in youngwood for the last month and need to find something closer. What clubs that are relatively close to me have good indoor and outdoor pistol ranges? I don't shoot rifles that much but will bring out the AR's once in a while. IDPA/IPSC pratical courses or setups would be a plus. How is Coraopolis District Sportsman's Association? any help would be great, thanks

I know it is not much closer to you than A&S but you might want to check out PMSC.

If you have any questions about membership or what the club has to offer, ask here as there a few club members on this forum. (even some board members)

www.pmsconline will take you there

seems a bit far, my schedule is pretty demanding so i need somewhere i can go for a quick hour once or twice a week, driving 30-40 min's each way kind of defeats the purpose.

Moon's further than me, but I live in Mt. Lebanon and am a member. The drive isn't too bad.

Thanks Ed. I see you even take care of us here on this site too.

Dusty,
We get that answer everytime. Untill people look around and see what's out there and then come and see what we have to offer. Best of luck to ya.

Yeah I live in the Oakdale/Robinson area and I am a member of PMSC, it's just that nice of a club for an amazing deal. Great facilities, and great people (for the most part)

I believe there is a list of ranges by county some where. I would take that list and call and/or visit the ranges and see which one you like.

PMSC is a great club but the drive isn't the best. I'm not a member but have shoot there (group shoots, FIRE classes). It seems like a great club. I just hate having to drive from the south to the east.
