Default Can You laminate a ccw card?

I was wondering if it is legal to laminate your ccw permit card? Mine transfered the print on to my id holder in my wallet. You can actually see the picture in the plastic from my old permit.

Centre county give you the option right there for them to do it for a dollar more. Makes sence to do it if its a paper card.

In going with this i know each county has their own carry permits but how many of you have paper permits? I know in Berks they actually give us cards like our drivers lisence. So i dont see why it wouldnt be ok to laminate it. It doesnt say on there that you cant laminate it does it?

Yes you can as long as the entire front is showing. Here in Backwater Lycoming cty, they give us a fishing license sort of arrangement and expect us to keep it intact for 5yrs. Inbreeding is a terrible thing.

um dude, dont ask on a forum, tomorrow just call up your local sheriff's office to check, they'd give you the best answer, would you really want to get screwed over just by laminating? When a 2 minute phone call would answer perfectly lol.

Seriously when was the last time you got anything that wasn't laminated?
Except for a replacement license. It's just plain ridiculous. i live in one of the most rural counties in the state and mine is laminated. And it only took as long as the instacheck took. Any sheriff dept. that can't be bothered to spring for 1970's technology either hopes it gets lost in the wash or is not spending their money wisely.

One would think that it would be standardized. After all it's our money. but then again if I can get ltcf in 20 minutes what's the bs with other counties.

Well yeah, I am going to call the sheriff office tomorrow. I was also kinda wondering if any on else has had a problem of the print wearing off. Beaver county permits are on a card just like a drivers license. Just for some reason the print wore of on mine. It like my wallet was silly putty. Has a perfect imprint of my permit on it.

I didn't even think about it being legal or not, I just laminated mine right away. I do the same with any membership or other cards I get that aren't laminated. It just seems like the logical thing to do.
